Yes...maybe even more now that he is revising the tune.

Wow just found a chevron less than a mile from my house with e85. I think once I get my lost cable I will have to get the e85 tune. Woohoo

damn, i sure wish we had Corn oil here... The closest place is about 150 miles away. So, guess ill either have to get it in bulk, or just go with the 93octane. John, your doing such a great job on this. Thanks so much for it man.

LOL your avatar says it all. Why would you be able to have a 96 octane tune with 94 octane fuel.....fuck logic indeed.

Yes it may run but you wont get the added benefit of maximizing timing.

LOL relax, i was wondering if it would do harm to the motor with the octane being 2 points away. just concerned man, you dont have to be a sarcastic fellow

Just thought it was funny that's all.

Dont think it would do damage but it would be putting unnecessary stress on the knock correction system. Can you imagine getting a bad tank of 94 octane gas?

Its honestly better safe than sorry.

Finished street tuning the 100 octane.

There are gains over pumpgas but don't think it's as good as the e85.

Hopefully I'll get a car on the dyno at some point to see the results

John

How are the crickets on e85 and 100 octane?

@Visconti, what do you prefer or what do you think preforms better, 93 octane with MTB(0% ethanol) or 94 octane with 10% ethanol?

Reason i ask is we only have 94 octane in Canada and im sure our injectors have to work a little harder but does the added cooling of ethanol even help at that miixture?

Thanks
