Not sure how visible behind 35%, but I've got 20% on the rear and you can't see the p plate through the window, hence why my P plate is behind the number plate now.

It's illegal to tint the front window, and just not a good idea haha. My door windows are 35%, rear quarters and rear window are 20%. Looks good.

Fair enough,
I opted for the darkest legal tint from my dealer (got a good price), would that be 35% all around or the same as yours?

I'm presuming that's going to be 35% all round.

Yes, if it can be seen it's fine.

I had 20% tint on the rear back when I was on my P Plates so I got a sticker made up for the rear window.

Problem is that I'll be sharing my car with my son so sticker won't really be an option and prefer not to go magnets. Guess i'll have to find someone with a 35% tinted window and see how visible the P plates are

Just slip it under number plate like I have it.. 1/4 tucked 3/4 visible.. popo have no issue as long as a plate is clearly visible unlike some who put nearly the whole plate under number plate or slap a magnetic one in the top corner..
