Will stock BRZ rearview mirror fit on 2005 Subaru Forester?

We need a new rearview mirror for "my wife's car", a 2005 Forester. She currently has an autodimming mirror with compass. I'm wondering if my stock BRZ mirror (non-autodimming) would work on the car, because that would give me an excellent excuse to splurge for the JDM frameless mirror for my BRZ. Thoughts?

Best thing you can do is try it! Search up the DIY on how to remove the BRZ's mirror. I'm pretty certain it'll be quite similar for the Forester. Then just try to swap mirrors... if it doesn't work, you can just get a different mirror for your wife. If it does... well now you can go and get your JDM mirror!

Ya not a bad idea...just didn't want to mess around if it definitely won't work. The Forester mirror has a couple wires attached to it, so I'm not sure what I'd do with those once I put the non-auto BRZ mirror on.
