Surely 2750 pound car and 400rwhp would be in 10s...
Clearly you spend more time behind the keyboard then at the actually track.

If going fast was easy everyone would be doing it. This is NOT a AWD car so I don't see it touching 10s in its current configuration.. Low 11s yea. With more seat time we'll get the car in the mid to low 11s. But for right now we don't have to do shit because we are the fastest BRZ in the world.

Dog on the street - I don't think so.

Just because it doesn't make 20 PSI @ 3k revs doesn't mean it's not very responsive on te street. This size turbo is perfect for the everyday type person, great for auto cross, road course and when you need to lay the hammer down it's there.

Yes, John made a typo.

This car will see 11's in no time. Comparing dyno #s between the US and AUS is like comparing shoe sizes. Big deal.

430whp is good power for the 3076r. I don't think it has that much more in it without pushing the efficiency a bit. You could run 30psi and make 500whp, but honestly you'd be better off going with a 35r if you want 500whp. 30psi generates a lot of heat.

Honestly, I'm surprised you guys pushed it this far on the 30r. 20psi is no joke. Anything over 400whp is going to be a handful at a track with turns in it. Even 350whp is pushing pretty good.

My only concern is in relation to high compression on the FA20. How long will it take 20psi before it gives in .

I completely understand now. So what your saying is that the Ausies are 100hp under based on dyno figures in the past?

No way dude. This thing is a blast on the street.

I raced 5 times last night and only lost once.

One of which is a 10.8 car all day long but couldn't hang because we were already moving when we hit it.

Only car I lost to was a 640whp toyota that I built! Honestly it wasn't that bad of a race either.

^ That's more than just your concern. This is is exactly what Jon and Don are sticking their heads out doing.
Pushing, or better yet, Finding the limits. Time will tell.
They are doing this in a openly sharing fashion as well.
Hence, mad respect to them.

That's been to the drag strip. There's a 600hp (non FA20 granted) BRZ in the US. There are plenty of swapped ones in Japan. I just don't know of any of them that have been to the drag strip yet.

I love what Don is doing though
