Got my Silver MT FRS about 2.5 weeks ago. Looking to see if we can get a group to go up to Sedona within the next couple weeks for a nice ride and possibly get some photos with Red Rock in the backround? Also where are the FRS?BRZ owners meeting over in the east valley?

I live in sedona. Keep me posted. Woudl like to plan route, lead etc, can offer my home, swimming pool, backyard and industrial BBQ grill.

Yeah that route looks good. Thinking maybe 2 week of September so then more people can ask off if they are interested and stuff. But will keep ppl posted. Also if you are seeking to put a protective film over your front bumber and 11/2 of the hood and also some of the fenders there is a place over on gilbert rd doing a package like that for about 530$ instead of other places just charging 700 or more for just the front bumper or the actual dealership that are doing for about 1k!

Indeed, couple minor fixes...still having the issue with the clutch being super loud when its hot...but couldn't replicate with a tech because it literally requires stop and go driving for over an hour to recreate....so now im just waiting on it to go out I guess.

Sucks cause I have 4k miles of driving in oct that will be done, and I hope it doesn't go out while im stuck in the middle of no where going cross country.

This would be a perfect route. I would add some stops:

1)first stop-my place-I am on the way to Sedona, right off the 2nd traffic circle on US179North. Many of the newer un-broken-in guys who are still burning oil are welcome to free top up with 0w-20 at my place, its a great rest stop, dial in tire pressures, couches, bathroom, great place to stop meet and greet and I can line up some pastries, fruit cups and juice and coffees.

We have a pretty chillin backyard, and the garage is well stocked with power tools, air compressor and beer (for afterwards)

2)There are some great photo spots here in the Village by bell rock, classic sedona backdrop

3)and also a great view from up at the airport, and then a fun lil detour is the drive to red rock state park where we can break again. The state park is a great place to revisit with family etc if you have never been. The creek is sweet on a hot day. even to just stop and look!

4)Jerome for milkshakes, windy roads and great video opportunity on windy canyon switchbacks

5)you all can take 260 back to 17South to PHX from there if you dont want to head back into sedona.


We can do lunch in Jerome. Shoot some video, youtube it and see if we cant piss off the local sherriffs? Just a little.
