Best of luck man, puts my little 'car door ding and run' into perspective but it sucks either way
I filed the incident with the police at the time of accidend and also contacted my insurance group. They said I don't have to pay for my deductible cause I'm not at fault and I got witnesses who saw the incident happen. They can confirm and testify that at time of incident I was inside the college and the car was parked and turned off. The shitty part was that the camera at the college was not setup at all and it was just a fucken decoy (I talked to the security there) because they don't have time to get to it......

I'm still too young to afford such a thing but when I do get a car I will be doing this (unless the car is like a winter beater or something), and wired to constant power.

I got hit on Monday. It was the first day students were back at school. The damage is minor, paint scraped off plastic bumper on the rear. Unfortunately the cameras in the parking lot don't see the area where I park. I didn't want to call the police because it was almost certainly a student...oh well...

1) Their not that expensive
2) I had to work my ass off to get it, sorry welfare wont cover the payments you bums.

Last year I had some retard back into my AE86 and run, I ended up having to pay the repairs.

hope it bodes better for you.
Tell me about it. I remember when I first bought my brand new tC in high school and one day came out to my car with giant scratches...Douche bag didn't make one line he had enough nerves to come back to make several more lines. I ended up with 3 key marks all along my passenger side of my car. The dumb thing is that person never got caught cuz we didn't have cameras in the parking lot.

To the OP sorry to hear that. I feel for you. I hope you get it fixed soon and that idiot gets caught. Good luck.

I got my estimate back, it's gonna be $6895.79 worth of damage.
I'm waiting for the insurance company to give the final approval before they will start ordering parts and work on my car.

I am paranoid about parking lots, that's why my vehicle gets "spotted" a lot. I leave it in the middle of empty parking lots next to a lot of traffic around Calgary. I also used to work for Calgary Transit and have a pretty good idea of where the parking lot cameras are in the lots, so I tend to try and park under them.

As for the scumbag that hit your car...enough bad things cannot happen to them. I wish their life to wither in front of their eyes all their hopes and dreams to come true only to turn to ashes in front of them. Slowly they will realize that all the good in the world was only present in order to make the moment of the fall all the more bitter. At the point just as they have fallen to the ground, cursing god and forsaking hope I hope that you drive past slowly in your freshly repaired car.
