I would just leave the Subie badges alone, but here are some black ones (for the front I think):

But I dunno, I couldn't bring myself to buy anything from a company called "Cuztom Tuning"...

Loyal toyota fan here! corrected for you, and I know it's more Toyota than Subaru but it's a stupid argument to be had, because we all know subaru is all about making RWD N/A cars that are rooted in TOYOTA sportscar heritage. (sarcasm)

can we please stop having this stupid loyalist argument? the team that built this car was called Team 86, the Lead Design Engineer was from Toyota, and the car has Toyota signature all over it. Get over it fanboys, it's a collaboration between the two companies. I still tell people my BRZ is an 86.

as for rebadging, do what you like man, i personally like the subaru badge because it looks awesome on the car, but if you wanna be badgeless so be it.

Seriously, do what you want. Your car.

If I had a FR-S, I might've rebadged as Toyota 86 or GT86 because that's what it's call around the world. Since BRZ exists in Japan and everywhere else, I'm leaving mine as is... but took the letters off for clean look.

I did get the 86 oil cap, but that's a head nod to it's heritage and for the Team 86, not because I'm a Toyota loyalist or anything. Same with me buying the fender emblem and looking for a place to place on inside of my BRZ.... Boxer motor (from Subaru and Toyota 800, I think) and another 86 emblem.

As for being more Toyota than Subaru? I guess that's all about opinion. Lots of Toyota money. Toyota design. Subaru mechanics. Built in Subaru plant. The parts actually being marked as Subaru, as well. I bought a space A/C control bezel (where the knobs go) so I can mod it later on for gauges, and it's marked as Subaru. But then a lot of Camry/Corolla are being built in refitted Subaru plants, but that doesn't mean those cars are actually Subaru.

I'd seriously rebadge my BRZ to Scion just to spite the badge snobbery I see. 2 things make me hesitate at the moment:

1) I want to maintain factory placement of the "Subaru" and "BRZ" letters in case I want to revert. If placement is off I automatically associate that with "it's been repainted" aka "it's been wrecked" (as I do when I see a debadged car which - don't get me wrong - can look clean as hell; just a pet peeve of mine).

2) It's already difficult trying to explain why a Subaru is RWD and naturally-aspirated thanks to the Toyota partnership. It's a lot of info for some people and they walk away scratching their heads. I'll completley lose them when I have to explain how it's a Subaru rebadged to Scion on top of that.

Our cars are 90% Subaru 10% Toyota. All of the internal parts are Subaru, the only thing that's Toyota is the exterior design. Toyota is making a comeback though, they are making th Lexus models look nicer

FYI: Toyota owns 16% of Subaru stock, far from a majority stake in Fuji Heavy Industries. Honestly, it was a smart financial decision since Subaru was one of the only car companies posting a profit, let alone record sales during the financial collapse of 2008-2009.
