And so, the balloon gets bigger

The record was 403 now its 429 on the other side of the field.

Who's going to 450+ ? Will it be P&L, AP or who?

Seems like it will only take another week to find out - where the massive first explosion will occur - someones gotta do it lol

Some of these turbochargers will be maxxing out too now, must be time for another retrim to provide yet higher airflows ??

Did you guys ever test at 4 or 6psi on 93 octane? If so, results?

I'm loving that manifold, equal length or close, no oil pump required, easy access to the turbo, the turbo is away from water and debris... VERY nice work guys.

I would rather have the intake give a slight curve in the piping rather than tilt the turbo up, since oil is gravity fed/drained. Interested to see how this performs over time.

These cars are making great power though for sure.

I hope we hear from P & L about this, but I highly doubt the oil is gravity fed. It would come off the engines oil system and enter the turbo pressurized. With this turbo location, unlike the others we've seen, this turbo is likely gravity drained back to the oil pan.

The center section, with the bearings and seals, is the only section that is lubricated with oil so the angle shouldn't cause oil to pool in one side vs the other.

I was only referring to the drain, sorry for any confusion. Unless turbos come with internal oil pumps in recent time, there is nothing inside of the CHRA that releases or forces the oil to drain into the oil pan other than gravity and a clear unrestricted path to the pan. If its tilted I don't see how it is free flowing to the pan. I get the idea that it would pool when the you are done driving and shutting down.

This would be the first time I have ever in my life seen a tilted turbo on any application. So I'm curious to hear thoughts from P&L also.
