No good Davey!! You would think they would pull their ****** out and get the job done!!

BUT, when I bought my 94 Celica ZR new, it was detailed by two Afghans who used rags dragged across the desert!! Not until I got home 500km south of Sydney and had the car under fluoro lighting did I see the damage they had done .. took a pro job at Maguiers Sydney to fix it, so better no rush mate!

Apparently some part thats installed at the distribution yard is in short supply so some cars are getting slightly delayed!

Won't get mine for another week at least.

I wonder what it is?

Yeah it was a major favour that the dealership owner did for me. Family friend.. "its not what you know.." scenerio. It was bought by the dealership as a showroom car and was being sold to one of the employees. But the owner said I could take it to avoid the 19 months i was going to wait. I still cant believe he just happen to have the exact spec i was after.

I placed my deposit for a white GTS manual on the 6th of June.

My tracking info has NOTHING. status is still "on order". Ive been away on holidays for a month so havent been checking on here but have people been getting their cars or what? Should I be bothering the dealer for more information?

Davey - could only be the tint as air con etc is complete when it leaves the factory

Tint is done by the dealer. It's not a "part" and isn't done at the docks, or compliance.

OZFT86 was available didn't think $2400 was a good idea!!

Haha nice! My old ones were "TFT86". I was gonna drop my new plates in at the dealer today but my salesperson wasn't there :P
