I can't stop driving it. It makes me want to keep driving past my driveway, and I often do.
I'm always late everywhere I go.
I've become completely irresponsible.....

I don't have a bunch of issues but I have 1 big issue and I'm losing sleep over it.

My BRZ keeps forcing me to buy mods but I want to save money for snow tires.

I don't like the horn... it sounds like a cheap Toyota Corolla.. I also don't like the fact that my car is in the panel beaters and that I have a crappy loan car right now.. other than that I LOVE MY 86!!!

Car is really great, but after just a few days of ownership, I wish a few things were different. In no particular order:
-Doors don't auto lock when moving.
-Door doesn't unlock and open by simply pulling the handle.
-Interior map light isn't push to turn on.
-No 12v outlet in a good position for anything on the dash, i.e. GPS.
-Car is too slow relative to its cornering capability. This car revs slower than anything I have ever owned (at least that's my perception), slow rev's doesn't feel very sporty. Reminds me of my Evo9 in Neutral (no boost).
-Analog speedo is wasted space. Much prefer other gauges.
-Dash doesn't dim all the way to dark.
-Electronic display is very limited in total info available at one time. It's weird to have two buttons that alter data in a single space. i.e. ODO or MPG, can't have both. I really would prefer a small LCD with a lot more information and ability to program features (like auto lock/unlock, headlights on for 1 min after car turns off, etc.) Larger production #'s would have helped here, but still it's 2012, so I expect more.
-Electronic display for speed looks like every alarm clock sold in the USA from 1980-2000.
-Lack of storage spots, but this is relative, since it is a small car. I would really like the covered armrest. I need a place to stash receipts without them flying out of the car with the windows down.
-Already have P0019 code after only 200 miles. Taking back to dealer
-Cup holders are too far back when using the 12v outlet.
-No frame around door windows, I worry about long term movement of the windows every time the door opens or closes.
-Fuel door on wrong side. I never understood why I would want to walk around to the other side of the car to get gas???? Maybe I'll ask my lady friend passengers to fill 'er up?
-Horn. Sounds worse than my scooter's horn.
Overall, this is an excellent car for $25K. Looks like it would cost twice that.

Can't you set it to do this?
-Door doesn't unlock and open by simply pulling the handle.
Yes it does

USB is pretty good spot and there is an outlet in the glovebox
-Car is too slow relative to its cornering capability. This car revs slower than anything I have ever owned (at least that's my perception), slow rev's doesn't feel very sporty. Reminds me of my Evo9 in Neutral (no boost).
Try a tune or at least a better filter and pulley. The car is slow though but with i/h/e/t you could hit 200+ if estimates hold true.
-Analog speedo is wasted space. Much prefer other gauges.
TOTALLY AGREE! I wish there was an exhaust temp and oil pressure or something there
-Dash doesn't dim all the way to dark.
Keep scrolling?

I kinda like simple. My M3 felt like it had a tad too much

Yup, but the car is cheap what did you expect?

Me too... I am hoping the aftermarket will make a snap in cover for the center area. Those cup holders are useless anyways since the door ones hold larger beverages as well as actually having the ability to hold them in the first place
-Already have P0019 code after only 200 miles. Taking back to dealer
That sucks. Full factory warranty though.
-Cup holders are too far back when using the 12v outlet.
Use the door pockets for cups. The center thing is useless.
-No frame around door windows, I worry about long term movement of the windows every time the door opens or closes.
Lots of cars do this. The cheap quality and 2 inches of movement have me worried about longevity though
-Fuel door on wrong side. I never understood why I would want to walk around to the other side of the car to get gas???? Maybe I'll ask my lady friend passengers to fill 'er up?
Yea, I have two cars on the right and two on the left. I always forget which side to go to.
-Horn. Sounds worse than my scooter's horn.
The big red horns do fit and easy enough to install. I have mine for when I put the trans cooler and oil cooler in.
Overall, this is an excellent car for $25K. Looks like it would cost twice that.

My door doesn't open with the handle unless it is unlocked. I double checked as I dropped the car off at the dealer and picked up a loaner Camry.

I also wish the text scrolled on the radio when listening to BTA.

And today was the first day that I drove the car to work and I have a powered on laptop all the time when I work and I had to buckle the passenger seatbelt just to stop the beeping. That was annoying.

As far as cup holders, the majority of time I am drinking in my car, it's a large 44oz Coke Icee from Speedway. I love those things. Can't put that in the door.

Your horn actually beeps? On my car the lock and unlock confirmation comes from an electronic beeper, not the actual car horn.

If you have the car alarm installed, the horn beeps twice on unlock and once on lock.

Ah... I like the electronic beep that mine has. Not too loud or obnoxious.

I called the dealership today, they said anytime after 7:30am to stop by. They will hook up the computer disable the honk for the alarm and go through any other options I might want turned on of off
