It was a third party delivery company from the dealership to where I live. It has nothing to do with Toyota or Subaru. I called the dealership and they were willing to help but again there was nothing that they would do since it was the delivery company's abuse and not theirs.

What I hate about my FR-S: The break in period.
But in all seriousness: -The key is really big and I'm afraid of pushing the buttons when I start the car up (not that it would really do anything, but still) -Getting in an out is not the easiest. I use the rubber pad on the door sill, but it's still kinda hard. -After washing my car, drying the 'cells' in the plastic grill isn't the easiest -No right elbow rest, but not a big deal since my hands are on the wheel. -No trunk button, but not a big deal. I got it on my keys. CLARIFICATION: I mean an actual lever or button the trunk itself -My shift knob (manual) was loose when i first got it. A few twists and it's tight but I sometimes accidentally turn it. It's great that it means I can easily replace it though. -The neck rests are angled, but a small pillow would remedy it. -Window buttons are kinda high up, I will need time to adjust. -Stitching is kinda nice and hardy, too hardy and scratchy imo. But at least I know it'll probably hold up. -Scion's stock stereo output is quite nice. The interface is quite clunky. -My depth perception is off and I still need to get used to the cars small size. When I parallel parked my car I thought I had almost no space and the car behind looked so close. In actuality, I had about 4 feet of space. -It gets dirty! My beautiful shine! No!! Knowing all this, I would still buy it. EDIT: Oops I meant right elbow rest, and I forgot about the useless speedometer but that's what the digital one is for anyways. I guess I should clarify that I meant there's no handle or lever on the trunk itself. I know about the button in the dash, the button on the key, and the button hole in that awkward upside down keyhole in the trunk. But I do not know if I can press the keyhole button to open the trunk though.

Yea was in Tennessee yesterday went white water rafting then racing around with an s2000, sti, Tacoma, it was amazing. Always had manuals before, 2 rx-8's, but not missing it. Kept mainly in 3rd, then in 4th on straights, had no problem keeping on butt of sti with turbo! I enjoy using the shift paddles much more. And man taking the curves was fun. But yeah hated getting behind that Sunday driver. Wish we had taken video, pretty intense, but we'd probably get arrested(actually one friend did get pulled over and later cops were called and a 370 that joined in on freeway got a scolding).

As far as things I don't like...seats too hard, fabric too hard to keep clean, no arm rest, should have at least left harness in doors for lights, windshield with problem in sunlight.

Worst things so far:
- it looks and feels like a big and chunkier car than the s15. The dash is chunky and too high. Hopefully when I one day lower the suspension it'll feel/look low and sleek. - the accelerator pedal being closer to the floor than the brake pedal making it harder to heel-toe, although i think i might be getting used to it. - because its bigger and clunkier, seeing out of it to park and reverse isnt as easy as the silvia. Might also just be another thing to get used to. |
