My car has harder bushings in the shift linkage.. it feels a little more direct than the BRZ. Overall the BRZ is still the nicer shifting transmission though, think between an S2000 and recent Miatas. No where near as good as the S2K though, but no car is.

I've never really drivin a car that felt much better than B , K, and F series trans missions... and the difference in feel is so much better between B and K transmissions. It is hard to explain unless you have drivin one. LSX motors have the worst transmission's attached to them when it comes to shifting feel LOL.

Nah, Porsche 944s have the worst shifter feel in the history of the Automobile.

Followed by the Borg Warner T-5 in the Mustangs and older F bodies.

And eventually the T56...

Never had the pleasure of driving a 944, but they sure have a place in my heart for looks... something about them. As for the fox bodies you are totally right, how could I forget the nightmare they are to drive HAHA.

That is just a class looking car. Plus I love the Mid-Ohio backdrop. I have spent so many great days at that facility.

Since I was replacing the front brakes I figured I'd inspect them all...
Currently at about 10,250 miles on the car. About 4,250 with track pads (Carbotech XP10 front and Carbotech XP8 rear).

Rear Brakes:
The rears are wearing fine, heck maybe even not wearing enough.

Rear drivers side:

Rear passenger side:

TONS of XP8 pad left:

Front Brakes:
This is where the entertaining stuff is

Drivers front:

Closeup of that interesting drivers front rotor wear:

Drivers front caliper, dust boots turn to dust if you touch them:

Pass front:

Pass front rotor:

Pass front caliper:

New front brakes:
This is the Essex Parts BRZ/FRS Competition Sprint system, with ARP extended studs added as well.
