Yup, there wasn't actual chassis damage on the front. Front only had near fender body kit damage, so they just pulled it off & drove it. Rear they had to do more work

It's very cool but it's not a modded 86 anymore, IMHO when you change engines and strip down to body and rebuild, the car loses so much of it's original character that you might of well have taken a fiber cast and popped that on a go-kart..

That can be said for 90% of the pro drift scene..... But i would rather see my GT86 with an LSx, IS-F, 2JZ ripping it up over another platform with just as much customization done......

Its still a GT86... Our GT86/FRS/BRZ.......

Yeah I suppose from that point of view... however if I removed your brain and your heart your legs and put someone else's brain and heart and legs on your torso... would that still be you (and would I be REALLY REALLY famous!)

I have moved over from the BMW modding scene and although there are loads of insane Swedish and Icelandic E30 drag cars with funny car engines .. these aren't real bimmers any more.. I recon once a car loses its personality and it's road manners, it's no longer the car that appealed so much.. it's actually just a body replica on a race car.. but that's only my opinion

I prefer to mod to enhance and improve on the original... for me the trick is to have the mods almost invisible to the untrained eye... until the right foot goes down or the volume goes up!!
