Saw a black 90's 4door civic the other day as well.. wearing a GT-R emblem on the back... had some other stuff as well on the front fenders, made me laugh. Idk why people would insult the GT-R like that.

Don't you know? Those emblems give you more HP, specially GT-R emblem.

That also includes the grille, doesn't it?

If you can cram a 2JZ into a 7th gen Celica, you can probably cram an RB into a Civic. It just depends on how much fabrication you want to do. Regardless, you're going to be cutting the fire wall, and possibly cutting a giant hole in the hood if the engine hits it.

There really is a difference between logic and sarcasm..Sorry if I offended you while voicing my opinion. Also, I am glad that you know about fallacies in logic..so do I. Therefore, only proves that when I made that comment I was being sarcastic. Thanks!

Sarcasm is terribly hard to decipher in text when you haven't somehow led on that you were being sarcastic. It really doesn't prove anything. There are just as many complete idiots on the internet as there are sarcastic forum users.

But you already knew that, right?

I will tell you what I do know..It is not logical for me to waste my time going back and forth with you about something I was making a joke about. If you get on these forums and search for posts that make logical sense, then I think you have other issues you need to address. In my opinion, I think only the idiot category of people on the internet would do that.

I thought about this the other night too.

If and when I place my order for the car, I'm going to ask the dealer to debadge the emblems. Might be a stretch, but I'm hoping they can at least remove the scion badge from the steering wheel for the interior. But I don't see why not since the whole Scion value prop is "personalization/customization" :P

the main difference between debadging the exerior versus debadging the interior is that most of the emblems on the outside are glued on and easy to remove. The one's on the interior, like the one in the middle of the steering wheel, tend to be molded into the material, stitched, etc. Without reupholstering the seats, swapping out the steering wheel with an aftermarket unit, or other significant labor intensive work, you're not likely to be completely devoid of logos or emblems. If the steering wheel emblem is like the one on my celica, its a sticker that can be pulled off, but then you're still stuck with a recessed oval in the middle of the wheel.

my point being, the dealer will probably laugh at you if you try to get him to debadge the interior.

I just wish they would stop making those stupid Airbag Warning Stickers permanent.

I don't think they would laugh at him... till he told them how much he was gonna pay for it. If you got the money they'll get you a Hooker.

True.... but the hooker would have to be in the contract and that could be awkward to explain to anyone looking over the paperwork.

Lol I guess that depends on the dealership. I'm sure anyone near Las Vegas wouldn't bat an eye.
