#3 Limited SWP BRZ (1182 mi, now 1355 mi) reporting in!

Drew is the man and has earned another long-term customer. I've never had a car of mine look so clean and so good. Plus, the opticoat adds a really deep gloss. Top notch work, and the price is very reasonable.

He's going to see the BRZ for a bit tomorrow for a quick touch up. Gives me an excuse to get out of the office for a few hours and drive the BRZ. Sweet! Thanks again, Drew.

Thanks Mark! Actually, it's probably a repair more than a touch up but I hope not.

I don't opti coat any of the rubber seals.
You can if you want to though. I'll wipe those down with 303 if they need a cleanup. That's about it.

You can opti coat the windshield, it's just not advised by the manufacture for legal reasons incase someone leaves a ton of high spots in the coating causing you not to be able to see out of the window. I've done several without problems both short term and long. The only problem I've seen is on the front window where someone still uses the windshield wipers, over time it abrades off the coating.

Cu2mike did one and it hazed up the windshield after the wipers did a sweep.
So I will never do it on a window. I would use a glass sealant instead.

I could see that happening within the first 24 hours. I keep my customers cars for that long application so that may be the reason I've never experience it, or maybe he used oc, I only have used OG.

I have done seven FRS' and BRZ's in the last few weeks and all got Opti Coat on the windshields. I even have it on my own windshield presently and haven't had one issue so far.
