Hello! I have been lurking around for a few weeks, but since I ordered my BRZ today, I figured it was time to sign up officially.

I ordered a white limited, with an estimated delivery timeframe of 6-12 weeks. They are very difficult to find in the Seattle area these days. Plus, dealer markups are the norm it seems.

I live in Redmond, and work at Microsoft in the Xbox division.

Good morning, I figure an intro is on order.
I'm currently shopping for a BRZ, but I'm not really in a rush to buy. My plan was to make a purchase in Oct/Nov time frame.
I just sold my 11 WRB STI and previously had an 06 WRB WRX and an 01 BRP RS2.5 Coupe anlong with too many other cars to count. My current DD is an 04 Dodge Ram 4x4.
I'm located in SoCal and make occasional forays to Willow Springs for a track day. I was debating between a BRZ and a Mustang GT, and have finally decided to go with the BRZ.

I just realized that I never said 'hi' in this thread. So my introductory 'hi' is in order.

Hi Everyone,

Just joined up, my Black Limited MT is on it's way (should be here Sept 17th). Getting it shipped to San Diego from Colorado shortly thereafter. Can't wait to take it to some Auto-X's and see what it can do.

G'day. I'm Juliette, 27 (28 this month, I might be 29 by the time I have my car!) and I'm from the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. I have a 2013 BRZ Premium Pack AT on order in WRC Blue Mica. I've also optioned the rear diffuser and a set of floor mats. My car is due approx. August 2013 so I've got a long wait ahead of me.

I'm hoping to only do very simple mods on it during the warranty period - a set of good wheels, coilovers, some bracing and a boot lip should see me out until the power bug takes hold again. I know for certain that I will not go as crazy with this car as a certain other car I owned

The little Subi will be my first non-Nissan. My previous cars were:

1998 Nissan N15 Pulsar S1 LX sedan (which I modified beyond anything sane...my build is floating around every nook and cranny of the interwebs)
1988 Nissan R31 Skyline Ti S2 sedan (ultimate grandpa car, I miss it)
1990 Nissan R31 Skyline S3 Executive sedan (POS)
1998 Nissan R34 Skyline 25GT-T sedan (great car, surprised a lot of people with it's ability considering it's size)
2005 Nissan YGZ11 CUBE3 (it's a box, but it's fun it it's own special way)

Hey there,

Just picked up my SWP Limited manual this past Friday after a long 6-month wait and it wasn't even the one I ordered. Let me explain.

Placed a deposit with my dealer on 2/20, order placed in system on 3/1, original ETA 8/9, revised ETA 8/20, informed car was damaged in transit 8/29, picked up another car that was unclaimed 8/31. Would've waited until October for the replacement car if I did not luck out with the unclaimed one.

Anyway, as you know the BRZ is amazing to drive. My first car was an MR2 and my last one was an MX-5 so I have an affinity towards fun, agile, rear-wheel drive cars, i.e., true driver's cars.

I used to be a fanatic autocrosser and did some instructing to give back to the sport but retired a few years ago. Who knows, I may get back into it with the BRZ.

Happy driving.

Hi everyone. my name is michael. Picked up the BRZ few weeks ago. been busy getting the car ready for wekfest last week so didn't get a chance to introduce myself. Been a subaru dealer tech for 5 years. Now working as a tech for lexus dealer on my 7th year. Left the game the time i left subaru. My heart is alway been with subaru so when i found out toyota and subrau aming a car together i made a choice to get this car. Best of both worlds. After driving the car for few weeks and doing numberous R&D for GTspec i have notice one thing. THis car overall is more toyota than subaru. This is the first Subaru i have seen that does not have front camber adjustment (noticed it when i was installing the coilovers) Eventhough the engine is a boxer motor it still has toyota influence.(first time seeing a ecm in the enigne bay ) Overall i am very impressed with the car. Hopefully i can shed some light on the technical end of the it when i know more on it. i will try to keep everyone inform on the technical section.

Intro

Hi All,

Name is Adrian, purchased my BRZ (white, 5spd, premium) on August 5th for $26,265 msrp and never looked back. Only had to call 24 dealerships, drive 3.5 hours and get extremely lucky. She had 8 miles off the lot despite dealership saying no one drove it (riiight). Hope to get to know some of you and get a meet going in the NorCal area.

Hey all,
Mark here...been lurking around the forum since placing my order for a SWP BRZ LTD Auto waaaay back in March... dealer first said it should be arriving in July... then August... then just plain skipped Sept and Oct to say not 'till November. I've got 8 kiddos, so waiting 9 months for my baby doesn't seem so unusual... maybe SOA is making us Floridians wait so you Yankees can enjoy your rides before the snow takes some of the fun away. (though growing up in Indiana I'm well aware how a big ol' snow covered parking lot and a rear wheel drive can create grins and memories that will last a lifetime without burning off 10K miles of rubber from the tires.)
I'm incredibly appreciative of all the advice and opinions here...
Now... if any of you can convince the assembly line to make some SWP LTD autos...
