BRZ STI Parts poll

Not a poll on which parts - it's a poll on whether they should be painted or unpainted, including the cf roof and hood.

The car in question:

And lets just say that this may actually have some influence on STI.

As is, although I'd prefer if the skirt wasn't so busy...

if it's CF, definitely unpainted. If it's FRP or Fiberglass, then painted.

I voted black but really only for the ground effects. Hood should be painted. Roof works either way. I liked how FiveAxis created a High Tech Two-Tone Retro Series for the FR-S. I'm trying to give my BRZ a more subtle version of the High Tech Two-Tone/blue panda treatment and not having to paint/vinyl anything (thanks to STI) makes it easier. Just waiting for those rear spats to be released + other black items on order.

Are you able to confirm if the rear spats will fit with the rear diffuser accessory without modification?

Carbon fiber and it's prohibitive cost should be for weight reduction, not looks. Paint it!

(Yes, the carbon hood and trunk lid on my MR2 are un-painted. When I can afford to have the whole car painted, they'll be color matched).

All should be painted with the exception of the front lip.

Appreciate it. Also please see if they can give you an ETA on its availability. Thanks!

I vote for painted. I'm probably the only person who doesn't like the looks of carbon fiber. It's not something I'd add, but if a car came with it, I'd still color match it.

I think it will depend a lot on color. If this really may have some influence and only showing WRB with unpainted part, then I think it is a really bad way to see what the community thinks. If a real opinion is wanted we need to see at minimum painted vs unpainted on 1 color and ideally painted and unpainted on every color.
