Just for fun, Burlingame has a Whiteout M/T with Catskinz *Heating* Leather Seats, an additional/upgraded sound system with an extra speaker, BeSpoke, and the other Scion accessories...

All for $34,347!! If I were to buy it, I would need to pay around $37,600 including taxes and reg.

Crazy, but they were told to stop putting the add-ons.

Did Scion /Toyota Corporate come down on them? That's good news if so =)

District officials spoke to the managers!

I also went to Momentum Scion in Fairfield, they have a Whiteout M/T and are adding a s-load of extras like rims, alarm, tint, and are planning to also sell for 34k.

Hanlees Scion in Davis has a Firestorm M/T with 80 Miles and leather seats, but they did discount to 26.8k from 28.3k! PM me and I can refer you to the guy if interested. He was really helpful and did his best to lower the price.

So I am ordering my brz in September and I can't find a dealer in the bay area selling at msrp. Is Lithia Reno Subaru my only hope?

check out my previous posts in this thread ... Lithia or Heuberger in CO are selling at MSRP or slightly below. Heuberger has a black Limited BRZ on the way that looks to be available. If you want to buy in Sept. or place an order, I'd put a deposit down now. You will have to be pretty lucky (sure, it happens) to just show up and buy one when you are ready.

I called them and spoke to the internet sales manager/rep and he told me some lady reserved a white premium brz from them 2 months ago, I guess she got impatient and bought another car. So I took over her order with no deposit. Still no ETA on the car, but hopefully I'll get it before it starts raining

It's at MSRP plus delivery then taxes and reg should be around 28-29k for me.

Thank you for the info PMok. Just reserved that black limited in CO. Has the options I wanted from the factory anyways and they did 600 under MSRP (and then added dealer handling etc).

Only down side is that they're telling me that SOA is not offering a lease on this car in August. I spoke to Jeff and he said they'd check again in September. I'm ok with financing it but would have preferred a lease.

I can't believe how hard this has been. I've been checking almost every dealership in CA for weeks and it seems like all the ones who have units are marking up like crazy, and the rest do first-come-first-serve.

I'm just glad to have it locked in for late September!

I have been emailing Lithia Reno Subaru and they want a $1000 non refundable deposit.

nice. :happy0180:

yeah it's the frustration with all the CA dealerships that ultimately pushed me to look outside the state. but aside from the wait (but almost everyone has to wait) it's a win-win, get the car and pay less than MSRP.

yeah, I was a little hesitant about that too, but hey if you have your mind set on buying a BRZ I truly believe they or Heuberger are your best bet. They will most likely get you the car this year, whereas otherwise you are hunting around in CA and *might* get one this year. These two dealerships are taking orders and not marking up. Sure you could get lucky and find one suddenly available locally that someone else flaked on, AND maybe it will be available at MSRP, but I took the "conservative" bet, I wasn't in a super rush anyways. If I was in a rush to get one, I probably would have just bought a FR-S, they are far easier to come by.
