I've resigned myself to waiting for the AT flash. If John says it aint ready, I guess it aint ready. It will come, and when it does it will be automagic! haha

I got one ready- not overly impressed with the results but I've made arrangements to spend a few days with a automatic to see how I can improve what I have now

Got a question about the tune. Actually the flat foot shifting feature coming up. Is Ecutek cutting spark, spark and fuel, fuel, or what? I'm wondering because I used to run a WOT Box on my MS3. This device cut spark, but still sent fuel into the cylinders. If you run this method, it will destroy cats in no time. If there is a huge backfire caused by this, it will send your cat out the tail pipe in pieces. So, this mod may only be safe on cars that are catless (if it still sends fuel into the cylinders). I'm just speaking from experience and I want you to be aware of this. Something to consider, especially if customers start popping up complaining why they have a cel suddenly. Also, will there be a fix (or tune) that will prevent cel for catless cars?

One other note, not sure if you left it open on purpose... even though your group buy is closed, people can still make payments on the group buy. Might want to delete the payment links if you meant to really close it out for time being.

Thanks for all that you are doing! Got my cables and cannot wait for my tune!

This buys is about to flip I just got cursed at and told he is about to smash his phone. He's aid people are texting him their life story. I texted asking if my tune was ready since we spoke yesterday and offered him to help by changing the rom ids and help send out tunes.

Lets give this guy some breathing room, if you havent filled out the google doc you are on the list. Just sit back and relax and let him get to you the stress is gettin to him and we don't want him to stop working on our platform.

Bottom line, myself included, give this man a lot of breathing room.

The offer to help change rom id's stands. You would have to hook it with the basic software but I can help

Sure John feels like Santa Claus the week before Christmas at this point, only the kids have his phone number. Ha. I'm sure if those of us who have their cables fill out the form he will get to us ASAP, and will get ETA updates to those who don't have them yet as soon as he can. It's obviously a priority, just overwhelming. We'll all have it soon enough and got a great discount on it in the meantime.

I think you mean guy. That makes out look like he's about to drop his group buy.

I can attest to how busy he is. His phone rings more in 10 minutes than mine does all day.

The main thing with this group buy is that it's a service based group buy and there are only so many hours in the day he is available, not to mention previous engagements (p&l, accelerated). If you think about it, each car takes one to 2 hours to tune, x60, plus the logistics of having open schedules for the tuner, and tunee.

John puts a lot of work and pride into his tune and customizes them for each car offering subtle tweaks on every tune ensuring you car works best for your area. It's not just a canned flash that is one size fits all.

That is the hallmark of a properly good tuner.

John's effort, openess and dedication has totally changed my perceptions of what ECUflash can be. I'm going to wait a bit until I take this up precisely because he's so busy. 'Visconti' is everywhere on this board; I can't imagine how busy he is in real life.

Ideally it should be a positive experience for both tuner and tunee, so I'm willing to give it time.

I've witnessed JV @ work too, and I have to say he's a multitasking machine. I don't know how he manages, but he does. You don't find that dedicated work ethic and skillset much these days. I'm the one driving with the (I think) original AT tune, and am grateful to have had the opportunity to donate my time and car to the cause. Not to mention the time he spent, and P&L for the generous hospitality...

I'm giddy like a little schoolgirl even if it's not where it should be just yet. I'm hoping that even if it's never up to par with the MT tune, the E85 tune might make up for it to some degree. Not to mention what he's learning tuning a turbo'd AT setup. It has to be of some benefit.
I'm all for sitting back and patiently watching it all unfold.
