Very true, bird etchings can be a pain. But usually not so bad if you can get them off in time and if your paint is waxed.
Here in AZ I have to say the worst thing is hard water. At least for non-factory painted. I washed my car after it was just painted and didn't dry it off in time. The water had etched into the paint with a million drops. Luckily the shop buffed it out for me. I wasn't getting any luck with my polisher...

I used makeup remover soap to take it off (of course I used my ex goes around comes around).Cuz she was an extremely jealous person. She got jealous over my car... MY CAR for freaking sake! If it was another girl or something, I totally understand... but car? But I did spent more $ on my car then her, so maybe that's why? LOL Last edited by ichitaka05; 05-03-2011 at 09:46 PM. |

I would look for a nice dark brown, Scion and Lexus both have some nice examples. Failing that, maybe a green or cement color.

Here's a question that just popped into my head: What color would you choose if Scion offered only their currently offered colors?
Super White Classic Silver Metallic Cement Magnetic Gray Metallic Stingray Metallic Black Sand Pearl Black Currant Metallic Barcelona Red Metallic Sizzling Crimson Mica Nautical Blue Metallic Elusive Blue Metallic Army Rock Metallic Amazon Green Metallic If these are our choices and Toyota chooses to keep the paint booth status-quo, what would you choose? Would you be happy with the color?

I voted white. I owned my black 350z for 6yrs. Slave myself for hrs cleaning/detailing it. But its a battle that I will never win. Black color is so hard to maintain.

Hard to say without seeing them. As much as I love the bright red Toyota likes to use it seems like a cop magnet. Would love to see like a burnt orange or the "Cement" that the tC has.
