The S is beveled!

Probably not big news to most of you, but I just realized that the emblem on the back of the car uses a different look for the "S". The "F" and the "R" are flat but the "S" has a beveled edge that starts from the middle of the letter. Hard to contain my excitement.

I wonder if the Z is fancy as well. I just might burst with overindulgent excitement. What thrill.

Wondered why the "S" looked different in certain light but never actually noticed the difference...

It sounds like you accidentally received an extremely limited edition 'corporate tester' car. These were not supposed to be released to the public at any price. In order to keep the whole 'test mule' project secret, Toyota and Subaru made just one small TOP-SECRET change to these very special cars so that their chance of being stolen by someone within the company would be minimized. That change (as was released in a media leak last week) was the logo on the rear of the cars - the 'S' part is beveled.
You might want to ask the moderators to remove your message because if someone from Toyota or Subaru reads it and finds out what happened, you might be getting a visit from them, and that wouldn't be a nice encounter.

Or, put it on eBay with a $100,000 starting bid and see what happens!

Good luck!
