It's not really an issue.... The transmission just uses a lower viscosity oil. Once you put in some thicker oil people have said that noise vanishes completely. It's easy to tell on this car where Toyobaru tried to spare us on quality for price.

just picked up my brz.. at west houston..

fwiw west houston had 2 drop outs before me..
but the car went within the same day.. you might want to ask to be on their list if anyone new drops out..

did anyone else order from gillman north? i know trizzy just picked his up along with another member. i was told there were 4 people ahead of me, so that should make it just me and another person left waiting. Im a little upset, because i ordered on 6/12/12 and was given an august ETA. i just emailed SOA and they are saying no precise ETA, no VIN, no update whatsoever.

I hate buying or using anything closed source. I might wait for Perrin so I can futz with the tune as well as have a tuner buddy true up the car based on my mods. That or just break into the tune and unlock it so I can use the cable I have now...
