Wonder how much it'll cost for one of us? MAYBE I can ask if they want to sponsor my vehicle's turbo build?!?!

Don.... OMG this whole build has been so exciting to watch and read over! I've read all but maybe 10 pages of this topic and i absolutely love it!!!!! Your doing such a great job on this and to the community wants. Keep this up man, i may have to drive up there when i get mine for you to install and meet. You and John both are the best. Can't argue with anything that ya'll have produced so far. Just keep up the stunning work and craftsmanship.

First one to 500 wins?
I thought 300-350 was good enough...ya'll be crazy, that car probably has zero grip already!!

This car was always "not about the numbers" so as much as I want more power, show me what it can do on the street!
Plus reliability, if one is to spend 28k OTD on an FRS, then 7k on a turbo install and tune, then at least a few grand or so on wider rims and grippy tires, with all said and done you're looking at just shy of 40 grand for a high dyno number and questionable reliability. Just buy a used 335i with a juice box :P Ok, enough buzzkilling, anyway you guys are doing some amazing work as far as displaying the capabilities of the motor, so go for 1000hp if that's the goal of the experiment, but for the majority of people who have the money to shell out, we bought the car to drive it so livability is going to be the determining factor, not dyno numbers

I was all about who could get to 400hp first and safely because thats what im wanting for my 86.... But to run 400hp all day we no issues it needs to be able to take 500hp on special occasions lol...... OBVIOUSLY.......
![]() Lol so yes i agree first to 500hp is King in my eyes..... Much respect to Don, he is a king in his own right... Atleast we have seen a few vids of his progress unlike others and he was the first that i know of to strap a snail to the 86/brz....... 500hp..... Reminds me of all those Supra Vs Ferrari/Murcielago youtube clips....... Anyone worked out power to weight ratio if the 86 hit 500hp? Thats supercar speed no?

It isn't just the money that matters. Its having a fun and unique vehicle that no one else has, hense the premise of customizing imo. |
