Anyone wanna have an opticoat party this weekend? XD
A few BRZs/FRSs opticoating in one location XD Also, would you recommend machine polishing? I was thinking of just hand polishing since the car is new. I dont have any machine polisher

I personally polished with a DA polisher. Hand polishing would just take to long and not do as good a job in my opinion.

Here you go. Pretty much the same one I have and it's on sale. Not exactly high quality but it does the job and way better then polishing by hand.
http://www.harborfreight.com/6-inch-...her-90219.html I love a harbor freight when I need to pickup a tool and quality isn't that much of a factor. Make sure you use a clearcoat safe polish.

Um... WTF? Thats really cheap. Do you have a link of the clearcoat polish? Do I need to purchase a specific pad or the one that comes with it ok? I've never done any detailing before... nor have I even washed my car with the proper tools. XD Any help would be appreciated

I'd suggest just paying for a professional detailed unless you want to spend hours reading.
Check out this guy. He has a lot of good reviews and is from mn. http://Raskysautodetailing.com/ |

It will probably come with some pads but I suggest picking some microfiber ones up. They have them at any autoparts store. For polish I don't think there is that much difference but like I said make sure it's clearcoat safe. And make sure you follow Opticoat's prep instruction. It's critical that after you polish you remove any residue.

Yea I was thinking of doing the process in order: 1. Wash car throughly, rinse and dry with microfiber towels. 2. Polish (machine) 3. Wash car again, rinse, and dry with microfiber towels 4. Wipedown with 15-20% IPA 5. Inspect throughly to see if anything is missed 6. Apply opticoat if everything is good.
