Nothing more satisfying then watching someone realize they just can't keep up with your pace, even if you're not pushing your car hard.

Coasting around corners while watching someone else alternately drift towards the outside of the road and brake to try to stay on the road is awesome. When they admit defeat and pull over to let you by... priceless.

All this without tailgating, which is just plain dangerous and irresponsible, especially on a dark canyon road.

Finished my custom intake by installing heat shield and making 2 brackets for support.

Drove it home from the dealers. Taking the long way home, of course!

This past weekend, my BRZ got the Visconti/ecutek Stage 1 flash, some top-notch work from Drew at AutoSalonWorks.com, and tint/clear bra from Rob at AutoProFilms, both in Belmont, CA. Sorry no good pics yet.

Today, I went and got my first oil change to replace the factory oil at around 1500 mi as per my usual protocol. I had the dealer put in the Subaru stock synthetic 0w20 with a K&N Gold oil filter. Surprisingly, the dealer informed me that the Greddy magnetic drain plug I bought from FT86 Speed Factory did not fit my BRZ, which was a bummer. The BRZ took to the new oil nicely and the valvetrain noise was much quieter throughout the ride home.

On the plus side, the dealer didn't notice the Visconti/Ecutek Stage 1 flash.

This weekend, I'll install a Grimmspeed front license plate mounting kit and my Visconti E85 tune, which I've already shelled out the dough for. Before I can do that, though, first I need to burn through a tank of 96 octane fuel.

I bought my blendmount on ebay for slightly cheaper. Is it worth it? The same thing can be said about my 32k BRZ, up to the user I guess. I don't regret it.

Escort is great, between the 9500ix and redline you have the most powerful radar detectors... But I got the V1 b/c of those stupid arrows (I owned an escort b4 and always wanted to know where the radar was coming from).

Howdy, i'm taking delivery of my Bay Area housed DGM BRZ in a couple weeks.. Knowing we have limited E85 and minimal high octane pumps, how are you managing the stage 1/E85 flashes between normal 91 fillups? Are the upsides more limited on stage 1 with 91 octane?

Thanks!
