So the Prius Coupe ran an 13.11 @ 107.19 MPH today. All the more reason for people here to stop buy shark fin antenna's and 4K wheel and tyre packages and get some *real* mumbo happening.

I can't even imagine what it would feel like to have to step back into a stock 86.

I think 10k is ridiculous, considering the car is only 40k max and they can build a motor, gearbox full of moving parts, tires, wheels, brakes, diff body panels, aircon, yadda yadda yadda.

Put it into perspective for a bit... is it really worth 25% of the car?
How much does a Garrett turbo really cost Garrett to make? How much markup to they put on it?
I have seen manufacturing costs of products and what they end up being worth at the retail end, and its freakin crazy.

I understand people need to make money etc.. but seriously.

Anyway.. probably will be a good chance ill end up with this or one of the other kits coming out in the future..

It's worth it.

you're talking about x amount of suppliers, fabrication of certain parts, hand built labour and comparing that with BULK mass production that has had millions spent making the process more efficient with less workers.

Not a low 12. High 12s sure. I was still on stock 205 tyres. Plus was run conservative 190kw tune. Better rubber and a bit more boost will see a 12.9

I'm really ok with their price. They could price the kit at 12k if they believe that it's worth that. Everyone here should be ok with the price. That does not mean that I will be buying the kit. Instead of complaining about their price, its easier to just move on to something that you believe is fair. No offense to the OP.

The Qld item is S/C kit.

For now the CHE kit with turbo is the item, or the bullet supercharger kit also for just under $10k driveaway price

Please point me to what your definition of "semblence of reliabilty" is...

The stock car hasn't even been proven to be reliable yet(IMO)... let alone any turbo, supercharge setups.

if you want it to be 100% reliable you will leave it 100% stock, as soon as you touch anything there is a chance something will go wrong, plain and simple.

False...

The car hasn't even been proven to be reliable let alone 100% reliable...(not your car the stock car).
