Livermore didn't charge me markup... but I had pre-ordered. However, they sold a GBS and a white for 1K over MSRP to walk-in customers the same day I was there.

I had a black one on order... but they called me to see if I wanted to pick up the gray early. Ended up getting the gray for MSRP!

Thanks for the reply. They are the most local Subie dealer to me, so its nice to know they arent too ridiculous.

Putnam Subaru listed the BRZ base for 8k above MSRP, I contacted the internet dealer and said he could give me an deal which was he lower it to 6k above MSRP...insane.

I found one in CO and ask them to ship...dealer charging $750 -$800. I just don't want to break-in a new car 15 - 18 hrs hard and immediate have 1000 miles on it when new...plus no time to do that.

yeah i feel the same way... but I also have some reservations about having them ship the car sight unseen - basically you've bought the car without ever test driving it. I guess anything weird would just have to be resolved under warranty.

I got my paperwork in Fedex today, after this step the car will be on the truck. I will ask them to take some pics before load the truck and I will put my insurance effective before loading, even there may be some cheap trucking insurance for the shipping. In this crazy BRZ shortage, I can only trust Subaru production line and their warranty, cannot ask for too much. I also noticed I have to pay a 1.1% RTD tax for State of CO and some unknown title/license fee ...

wow, well you're going to get the car even quicker than me, mine won't be in until next month. so you get to be one of the few, the proud, the BRZ owners in NorCal who didn't pay over MSRP. I'm curious to see how many days it takes to arrive via truck, keep me posted.

The WRB BRZ at Broadway in Oakland might still be available.
If you're still looking for one, be sure to ask for Erdi if you're going to check it out.
