I wanted to say thanks to Opie. You can cross the Curwensville car off the list as I bought it this weekend for $500 under MSRP and drove it home. That also means that at some point the one I ordered from Subaru of Gainesville will become available in Florida.

That one is exactly what I'm looking for. I did their "Request an ePrice" thing on their website and they sent me a reply saying that the ePrice was $27,233. I emailed back that I'd take it, and the sales lady replied that they wouldn't sell it for that but that they wanted $31,800 for it. So, FWIW, Gerald Subaru in Naperville is still trying to get a $3K markup over MSRP. I'd sure prefer a BRZ, but if that's the case the numerous FR-S's that are available at list look to be the only current option.
