Looks like an E85 station is opening up about 3km from my work. this might just have to be my first power mod.

Oh, and this is a good read for A LOT of info about E85 tuning:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=803341

Not sure at all how credible the informatin actually is, but the guy seems to know his stuff.

John, I know you're very busy (I've seen how active you are on here) and I have sent you a couple messages, along with asking the same questions on this forum. If you prefer I can give you a call, but all I wanted to know is how much more the tune is for e85 over the traditional tune, so I know whether it is more beneficial for me to participate in the group buy and upgrade from there, or just wait until the e85 tune is available.

I can give you a call on thursday or friday, if this works better for you.

Keep up the great work, and thanks!

I don't think he his 100% done with the e85 tune yet and hasn't decided how much to charge since it isn't fine tuned yet. I am actually going to test it out and give him some feedback on it this week.

Gonna see how it does on the track this weekend running time trials at Lime Rock. So that will be about 1 hour of run time flat out on the e85 tune. I will post back my feedback and if I have any issues let him know. But I don't think I'm gonna have any issue other than scaring some s2000's and Z'a out on the track.

In the group buy thread he stated that the E85 tune would be $350, you can buy it now or buy it down the road, up to you.

So, I bit the bullet and got the e85 map.

Let me sum up my initial impression. This is how the car should have came from the factory. The car just wants to get up and go. No dip, just vroom.

I tried to take a couple of videos, but the camera autofocus was going nuts with the low light and constant shaking. I'll get some better ones when I take it out during the day.
