I could rant at this point but, I'll save it until after I make a phone call or two next Monday morning. Subaru did email me saying "September" about a week after the dealer told me Aug. 20th but, the dealer didn't get that information. So hard to tell who to believe anymore. Hey, at least I have an "allocated" pre-order unlike being on a waiting list for the next allocation that hasn't even opened up yet!!!

Well I hope it's sooner then later, I remember having to wait form 11 WRX and it killed. We can wait, I would rather do it when it's a little cooler outside anyways.

whats up guys! Just got my scion fr-s saturday and I'm in a state of disbelief still! My first car bought on my own with no cosigner or down payment. North Park Scion really worked for me!, Blaine Waddell got me my car within 4 days. Now anyone got any insurance leads? lol

Thanks, guys! Will be flying out on Wednesday AM. Reality won't set in until I get a chance to bond visually and behind the wheel!!!! 156 days of waiting from my original Mar 21 down payment date!

LOL Done! I've reminded the salesman like about 3-4 times now!! He keeps assuring me they won't. Hopefully, the word gets down to the make ready ppls.

I know. Widow...i mean wifey will be with me. I wanted to head up in that direction so bad but, will have to enjoy the twisties in our neck of the woods. Sat. is our wedding anniversary and wife has Jury duty next Mon. she had already confirmed attendance. With no advance warning it was difficult with work schedules with a days notice to take off three days. I've got flight and hotels, bed and breakfast all booked up and ready to go. Restaurants picked. Paperwork done! Finance and insurance arranged. Dog sitter lined up. Made a list and checked it twice already! I'll post up a few pics along the way if I get a chance!!!

Will do! It will be a 4 day adventure! First day doing 129 miles on some back roads and city driving. Will be able to get the feel of the car, vary speeds and what not before hitting the interstates next 3 days with city driving stops mixed in between. Engine will be broken in by the time BRZ gets home!

I think I know the feeling of disbelief you are having...or at least will be having it soon this Wednesday when I pick up my BRZ!!!!!! Are you liking it?????? This is the first car I've ever bought without having driven it first!

I took my BRZ to Concours Auto Salon, and they did a great job. They also do tint and other things. If you go, tell them Matt Harrell referred you. I should be in their system. They have a referral thing.

The new customer package is pretty nice.. Its $350 for a full professional detail, inside and out and the opticoat.

Yeah, i'm enjoying it. It handles like a damn go kart!!! That being said, when i had my mazda 3 the steering wheel controls spoiled me, I hate having to reach for the radio and take my eyes off the road, also the cruise control seems like an afterthought, like they added it after the car was built, and for some reason I can only get it to add speed to the set cruise speed, not decrease the set speed. You can see where they cut corners for cost, cup holders and console, etc, but above all, car drives like a race car.

update!, i'm no longer another uninsured mexican! geico got me a rate of $68, for 6 months.
