Wouldn't bother me a bit. I'd sell the BRZ and get the next best thing.

Two of the worst examples of what you are fearing are the 2004 GTO and SSR. the next model year they each had huge improvements, after many shelled out well over sticker for the original ones. I think Subaru and Toyota are much smarter than that. Pat |

Yup. Agreed. The BRZ is just a bridge car for me anywho. If the next WRX/STi or BRZ is better, I'll trade up.
If not I'll hold onto it like I did with my STi. Even though the 05 STi had a butt ton of changes, they weren't enough to make me feel buyers remorse. |

Subaru sales and marketing will not let that happen. There is always a "future model" in their shop, ready to bring that out to the market, they will wait until the sales number goes down and or competition comes in. Either way is not going to happen for a while. What I can guess is Subaru will announces price increase on MSRP soon, with 0 change, so get your car quick! Do you think adding $1k on the MSRP will stop the waiting list getting longer?

Not mad at all. Turbo = more insurance, and at 25 years young I can only afford so much.
Thanks NA engine. |
