Honestly man I live by a code that you don't mess with another mans car. I wish everyone was like that. You can be pissed or jealous, or find another mans car parked in front of your house as he's shtupping your wife; just don't fuk with the car.

I bought a blackbue and I"m installing it today. But, I was thinking, even if it does catch some punk vandalizing my car, the damage is still done and the punk may just end up jail, but my car woud still be fukd up. Oh well, maybe it will prevent someone else from getting their car ruined.

Is it so bad it's undriveable? Im just wondering why it has to stay at the shop for a dented hood. Why can't they call you when the hood comes in?

Did a bit of research. Found Blackvue as someone mentioned here and its pretty sweet. 1080P.

But Im not sure if the parking mode works with the BRZ since its japanese made car. Not sure if power is provided to the camera when the car is turned off.

It isn't. Subaru designs their cars that way.

You can hardwire that or pick up the power magic box designed for the blackvue. It will cut the power if your battery falls below 11.6V
