David,

I will be doing a full published review with (dynos, videos, and pictures) of the unit in comparison to another intake I have coming in. Keep a lookout

Hi guys,

Tracking numbers are emailed automatically. A few orders have gone out, but our largest shipment will be on Monday.

When it is delivered:
  • Be sure to fill out the WTF $50 cash rebate form - download it here
  • Preorder customers look inside the box for a special gift!
  • Install your Airaid intake, take some photos & post a review here

Have a great weekend everybody! :happy0180:

Question: Is this intake system susceptible to the small hp loss people have seen from removing the sound tube?

Being that we have the option to keep the sound tube or delete it, I am inclined to keep it if it means even just a little more power.

According to the instructions with the intake. It says that there is no advantage or disadvantage to keeping the sound tube. I took mine out and the air tube behind the bumper.

There is no difference in hp with or without the sound tube.

What did you use to plug the holes where the sound tube used to be? And did you remove the front bumper to remove the air tube?

The intake already has a plug. If you want to keep the sound tube you remove it. And they give you something to plug the hole on the firewall.
No I didn't remove the bumper. I did what they suggested we can do without removing the whole bumper

Thanks Asphaltfrs1. Was it difficult to remove the air tube without removing the bumper?

It took me a while, but because I was trying to be very cautious. Another member was telling me that took him 10 minutes. He basically just went balls in and pulled it back. Our conversion should be on the Air raid thread regarding feedback.
