Cruise control map-switching for 5 on the fly maps...genius. Is this available on the current Ecutek program update or is it something that will come later?

Counting down the hours until I get my good laptop back from work so I can get her all flashed and ready for some road tests.

I definitely think I made the right decision getting the EcuTek tune from you. Your dedication is second to none.

Agreed, I wish I could just see the matrix like John can.

I agree also, and its one of the reasons I ended up going this route. There is currently no other tuning option that has a guy with the dedication to get the shit done and done right.

Hes already up this morning helping people with tunes. That in my book with his group buy offer covers the ridiculous overpriced cable.

John, this has been talked about before but I just want to be absolutely sure: If I get this tune and let's say that hypothetically the engine needs to be replaced. If I set the ECU back to stock, SOA cannot see that any tunes have been done in the past? Thanks for your great work on this platform by the way.

I also just posted this in the group buy area...

Brief review!
First off, great product and service from John! Set up was pretty easy, took me about 30 minutes to get everything installed and set up. I just put a solid 50 miles on my BRZ! Without doubt the tune is worth it. Like everyone else is saying the idle issue is no more, throttle response is definitely better, the torque dip is pretty much gone. I did not get up past 7k so I really don't know about the redline thing... I can easily say though that the engine sounds and feels different for sure. Its smoother and more "zippy". Something I wasn't expecting but I am really happy with is that the exhaust seems to have a little more of a rumble, nothing crazy but especially between about 3k and 5k... there is more going on. There is a noticeable power increase that is most obvious above 4k. I am really excited about the Racerom stuff, map switching, and even better maps to come in the future! Zero regrets about this product, really cool stuff. Thanks again John, you have a great product and even better service.

One side note... the map that I am using is labeled for 93 octane, in Cali all we get is 91. John caught this before I even realized it and reassured me that I would be 100% fine. It was a 85 degree day today when I was driving, pushed it decently hard for about an hour... zero issues! Time for intake and exhaust!

-Ryan

John, I cannot tell you how excited I am to buy this setup. There may be a lot of different options out there, but I really can't wait to jump in this and play with it. What you've documented and shown so far is all great stuff. The boys at ECUtek must be busy.

This ECU has a ton of programmable features available which is exactly what I am looking for. This is BY FAR the first investment I'm making upon arrival of my BRZ. I want the software, cable, everything I can get a hold of. I'm ready!

There was that thread around here about that guy testing gas mileage. What do you think you can get the mpg up to from where it comes factory? I've never been a fuel sipper, but something about this whole setup has me intrigued and I want to play with it! Even to brag about the MPG.

Question John, Has anyone throwing the CEL/SL (P0019 code) used your tune and have it clear or thrown the CEL/SL while having your (or any other) tune (to your knowledge)?
