FS: 2001 Ducati 996 (1mile, never started)

Selling this for a customer of mine. He is a bike collector and owned 11 bikes at the time of this one, hence the reason he never started it.

When Ducati builds their bikes, they run the bike around a 1mile track. Once ridden around the track, the bike is then drained of all fluids and new injectors installed. This is the reason the bike has 1mile (The Ducati Mile).

2001 Ducati 996 (last year of the 996)
$15,500 brand new - $3500 worth of add ons
1 owner, have all original factory parts
Never been started

All aftermarket parts installed by Ducati.

- Full Arrow CF racing exhaust
- All CF add ons (intake runners, front faring engine cowl, CF mirrors, chain guard, exhaust heat shield, boot tips, gauge cluster)
- Evo Racing damper
- Showa front suspension
- Ohlins nitrogen rear suspension
- Corbin leather seat
- Gray charcoal Marchesini wheels
- Race hydraulic brake lines front and rear

Asking $10,500.

Someday I'll learn to ride. Plan on picking up a Ducati Monster myself. I love the way they look.

Good luck with the sale!!!

Nice bike indeed! That's cool that it has been preserved and a monoposto. Too bad it's not a 996 SPS or R, those are more rare. Call me a little coocoo but I love the way those Ducatis smelled! They gave off a distinctive aroma just like when you wake up to the smell of bacon in the morning.

Those Michelin Pilots are absolute garbage!

If you want, pm me the bike details, seller's contact and I can post it up the Ducati SBK forum.
