I was gonna say isn't there an option from Toyota to add this? I remember selling tons of those kits for Scions and Yarises (Yari) when I worked in Toyota parts. Probably more expensive than buying them elsewhere but I think it might be pre-wired for such an upgrade?

I found it easy as f*** I wired them directly to my headlight switch, plugged the + directly into the fuse box, grounded the - wire somewhere next to the panel |

Has anybody found a way to install and wire them to a switch? I'd like the ability to shut them off whenever I dont want to drive with those lights on.

I would imagine if you wire them into the dome light, they would only come on when the switch is set. But yes, a diy would be awesome!!!

So i did the lights today, too dark to do a diy but it was easy. I pulled the plug out of the back of the cig lghter in the glove box and used 2 wire taps, white is positive black is negative, then rand a connecting wire behind the stereo deck to hide it and to power both sides, taped it up and voila!
