Question Help with chassis upgrade

Hey guys,

I am a complete n00b with this stuff, but I was wondering if I could get a bit of help with some upgrades for the chassis of an 86.

I don't do any track or race driving, it's purely just around town.

I want to be able to take sharp corners fast (and go around round-abouts) while feeling all 4 wheels are evenly on the ground with as minimal body roll as possible.

What would you suggest?

Have you driven the car before? It's already pretty rigid. For the street anyway. There's a thread around here that has a whole bunch of Cusco bars for sale.

Yeah, the car is pretty good itself, was thinking you could put in sturts and braces, but probably that's over kill because it's mainly used in track days.

Yes. Hooning on the streets is unacceptable behaviour.

Yes. If you have never been to track school the amount of time tuition can shave off your time is incredible. Then you can use that knowledge/skill with any car.

I agree with with czar07 though not primarily for the reason he gave. Yes, it is unacceptable behaviour to many people but the main risk is the potential for incidents. I don't care if you injure/kill your self but causing grief to other people is not cool.

What are you talking about?!?

I am not interested in 'shaving off my time' on a track?? I have never even been on one. I only want to drive around the city and have something that will stick solid to the road.

your taling about taking sharp corners and roundabouts fast what about that is safe driving behaviour for the road thats why they are talking about going to driving school because there you will learn to be sensible on the roads and if you have the erge to drive erratically take it to the track
