I started to notice the tweets recently. I have almost 2k miles now.
I tried the 2k RPM in neutral and turning AC on and off, and I could reproduce the noise.
It doesn't annoy me like the rear deck noise, but I would be happy if this can be fixed.

Thought I was the only one! I have the idling cricket sound and this noise too.

I've been going crazy trying to get to a dealership for them to look at it. I got turned away because they were so busy! However, one of the service people were like, oh yea we definitely hear that chirping noise.

Back to the subject. I do get the same chirp around 1800-2800rpm. Seems like a slight hiccup when it happens sometimes too. Does anyone feel that? It's very little but I'd say I'm a bit meticulous...

Hiccup? The noise coincides with the engagement of the A/C compressor clutch, so you're bound to feel a dip in power from the additional drag on the engine it causes, but that's no different from any other car.

But it happens probably every 15-30 seconds only when I'm accelerating/decelerating. The A/C compressor clutch engages that much? Doesn't seem right to me...

That's about the interval I heard it on my road trip. AC was on and the gf was sleeping so no radio to wake her up. That small tweet annoyed the crap out of me for 3-4 hours at a time.

My car does this too. It's annoying and funny all at once. Windows up or over 40mph it's a non-issue

I must be deaf, my car does not have any weird noises that I would not consider normal.

Is it just new car ownership paranoia?

Definitely not, at least for me. This is my 8th brand new car and first time having this problem.

I can see how this can get annoying. It's not really annoying me yet, but mine is tweeting every 15 seconds or so. It seems like at the same pace. It might start annoying me if I keep hearing this every day over and over.

How many miles do you have? Do you have radio on when you're driving? Mine had no noise other than the chirping the first 1000 miles. And I probably wouldn't notice these noises if I have radio on all the time. But I shouldn't be forced to turn the radio on to have a stress free ride.

Or maybe just lucky so far. Little over 2k miles. It would be interesting to track the build date of the cars and see if there is a trend or if it is just random.

I envy you!
Mine is one of the first ones out of the dealer. Picked it up on June 7th. I believe 6th or 7th is the first day they had the car go here.
