Nice choice! GT manual for me 'Velocity Orange' with T35 window tint - could have had a 'tornado grey' this week but colour isn't to my liking, if they get a cancellation [and believe me people are!!] then pegasus white or silver will be OK with me but LOVE the Orange!

Got a guy bought my Corolla Sportivo and he's picking it up this weekend, not often you can buy a car like that with 32,501km!! Hate to part with it but too many cars!

Ordered June 25th, still no build date from the factory. Was submitted with September build request and has been bumped out twice, currently awaiting confirmation of November/December build date, which is extremely unlikely.
I am third in line at my dealer, but none of my dealership's orders have been allocated build dates yet, so I am being told at least a 6-8month wait as we do not expect to have any of our orders built this year.
The allocations at the factory are completely screwed

I dont like that dealerships are getting extra stock. All of that should be going to the people that have ordered around the country.

What is this extra stock you speak of? Some dealers have cancelled orders and have every right to resell then rather than have it taken from them to go to other dealers.

Typo? GT is the shortest wait. GTS manual and auto close to two years now.

I think they should of just supplied cars in order of sales, not just give dealerships stock.
It's ridiculous that there is a 2 year wait and you can just buy one from Carsales !

Again, these cars would've been sold and cancelled. Dealers pay for their stock. They have just as much right to them as you do.

Well in my opinion it should be going back to Toyota and to the next person on the list!
This is almost like a black market!

I would agree (if I also had a poor understanding of how the system works)

I spoke with my Sales Consultant yesterday and again today, confirmed orders go to TMCA and ONCE a month are uploaded to Japan, around the 20th of each month. The 'build date' showing on your order printed by your Dealer is the latest TMCA would have, once the order reaches Japan the build month slots in with world wide orders and can move back or forward

Again he stresses that orders with customer names ie: me, you Nafe etc will be preferenced to those where Dealers are ordering for 'yard stock'. Of course Dealers can order for 'yard stock' but 'sold' cars take preference

Again, a huge thanks to my Dealer at Caboolture where I dropped my Sportivo in early this morning for a Roadworthy Certificate and my Consultant met me there 6.45am and drove me to the station and again this afternoon, one phone call and he was there to collect me - #1 service!! Thanks Nick!!

Nafe, yes an awesome little car with a sh*tload of power!! [missing letter is 'o'], I think a few tears when it goes Saturday
