In line on the north side and they didn't order my car. Now looking at September / October for mine.

I think I am going to drive the south side once I do get my car for servicing, parts and anything else to do with my 86. Looks like they are going to look after you guys from the start.... Good on you Southside Toyota!

It sounds like it. I spoke with a guy called Bruce (B1 is his nickname as there are two, B1 and B2 lol) when I did the inital deposit a few months back. He was really nice and quickly picked up I was a car enthusiast and knew a tonne of info on the car to begin with.

He didn't once try the hard sell on me and he quickly got me into the paperwork and procedure of pre-ordering a car. I think the whole process was like 20mins top from me walking in and my deposit placed with their finance team. He called me on Thursday and was telling me about their training, etc and that the car goes on sale June 18th and would be in contact with me then.

That's most likely because most if not all the Toyota owned dealerships, not the franchised ones though some may, use an in-house developed sales program.

A bunch of us use a system called ERA and the 86 hasn't been loaded into the system yet that we know of. Also, Sticky is right, we still don't know whether metallic paint is a standard feature or not though we will most likely find out by the launch day.

GT Manuals:

Just thought you guys might want to know, the grey is still available for delivery in 2 weeks. Called Rob, he originally told me he had the black, and I was ready to order it, but then he said he made a mistake, and it was the grey. Perhaps someone else on this forum will pick it up!
