Hey Celica/MR-S guys, are there any "DIY" ECU reflashing options for the 1ZZ-FE? No packaged tune nonsense, no standalones (too much money), I want control from a laptop or something.

I believe they're only available in one finish right now, titanium silver. We'll see if I end of powdercoating them gold or not.

225/45/17 BFG KDW2 that I have in my garage. Loud and not the grippiest, but excellent wet weather performance.

So making that tires as a seasonal? Or all season?

It's a summer tire. Here's the TireRack link.

The idea when I purchased these last year for the WRX was to compromise as little as possible. I wanted something that gripped like hell, but didn't sacrifice wet traction to do so. These aren't as grippy as Star Specs or RS3, but their wet weather stability is greater.

Not sure how Ayrton Senna did it, but driving in loafers is ridiculous. No feedback whatsoever.

Now I have a good reason for hating Chrysler. I've been trying to source parts for brake lines on a Dodge and somehow the only place with the proper parts is the one autoparts store that closes early. I've had to go to three autopart stores and yet I still don't have the parts I need. I'm going back to the one autoparts store tomorrow. A one day brake line job has somehow turned into a 3 day job.

That man could drive after having his legs cut off and being dipped in OraGel for an hour. He had a sixth sense when it came to understanding an automobile...

Not often. The pedal feel is superior and your feet get to breathe, but I just don't do it often.

Usually after I've gone to the beach. Other than that I prefer more grip, so I don't drive barefoot often.
