Maybe it's your location or order details? I'm not really sure. This whole distribution processes seems all screwed up to me. You've gotta be one patient person though! I know I almost want to cry anytime I see a BRZ or FRS on the road...just breaks my heart that I dont have mine yet.

Did you order a strange combination of options or something? I wonder if there's more delays with the Limited version due to the optional parts being low quantity, or if it's due to logistics of when they produce certain colors or have the assembly lines configured to do Limited or Premium... Just a guess.

Vin is 31xx and eta is sept 10...seems odd your vin is so low but still waiting

Premium WRB 6MT...pretty standard except for my one accessory: dimming mirror. I was unable to select fog lights at the time so I believe the order proceeded without them.

Yeah I wait til nearly the end of allocations and STILL get a low VIN car that will probably have a TSB or 5.

BOO-YAH! Called SOA today to see if they had any updated info on my car after the dealer called me the other day. They confirmed Sept. 10 as approximate delivery date. Also got the VIN number which ended in the mid 2400's or 2500's, can't remember, wrote it down at work. Guy I spoke with at SOA was extremely nice and explained that they do indeed build these cars in exterior paint color 'batches'. I mentioned that there were people on the forums that had pre-ordered cars way before I ordered mine in June and were still waiting for a delivery date and he said that most likely that the batch of CSB's were not all sold when built and my order filled one of the unsold units requirements. Since most or all of the accessories are installed at the port of entry there's no real waiting for an accessory to be installed at the factory which could possibly be out of stock and hold up the order.

I'm also beginning to wonder for those people who pre-ordered cars if the dealer didn't try and sell more cars than they were allotted and you are on a wait list.

How many cars in a color 'batch'?
How many cars are built a day?
Do they build Toyotas one week, Scions one week and Subies one week or are they all mixed in?

There's a lot of variables (maybe) that could lengthen the wait it seems to me.

Found out my WRB limited is finally on the way. I ordered it back in March.

I didn't think to ask the dealer for the vin but he assures me that it will arrive in Baltimore at the end of this month and should be at the dealer ship around the week of the 10th.

If you're in the Mid-Atlantic area and Subies are delivered into the Port of Baltimore, here's a link to vessel arrivals. The one arriving on 8/30 has no info (link doesn't work) so it's hard to tell where it docked last.

Ninja'ed a White BRZ MSRP order in Cali, ETA of 8/27. SOA rep said +/- 10-14 days from ETA before the car arrives. Last 4 digits of VIN#28XX

Also checked on my original Black BRZ order placed in San Bernadino Subaru 2 months ago. Tentative ETA of "Roughly after December..more information about ETA in Early November."

Ordered mine 8/7 and called SOA today. it's been a week and few days but wanted to find out if there is any kind of news. lady said no VIN# yet and will be December for delivery

Just got the call that my 3/24 orderered 8/20 ETA SWP Limited arrived this afternoon. Sadly stuck at work so I am picking it up first thing tomorrow morning. Stoked!
