Could you elaborate what you mean by "used E85 in early '90s cars... long-term"?
Supras, All-trac celicas, all tuned on E85 for years and never an issue. Not with factory fuel lines or aftermarket. No issues with pumps either, even though they weren't "rated" for E85.

Most people are worried about the corrosive attributes associated with many alcohols, and attribute those to E85 as well. But ethanol is quite stable, and doesn't react to most rubbers or metals. They've been using ethanol in concentrations of 10% for many many years now without any issues with fuel eating seals. I'm more worried about water, and the way it can trap contaminants in the fuel and cause failure of parts. but I wouldn't worry about it eating seals and stuff. It just doesn't happen that I've seen.

Yeah car feels good with the e85 - still working out what exactly needs to be changed.

The direct injection is a little tricky on e85 but I'm trying to find a way to support the e85 with out having to change a bunch of different fueling tables.

Keen to see what you can do with E85. We have it here down under and I'm interested in running it if makes more power and I can keep the stock fuel system.

Whoa why is the idle at 900rpm? Aren't most cars idling at 650?

Is it to avoid the surging idle problem? I always thought the 650rpm idle was a beautiful thing
