This is probably the first real modification I will make to my car.
Some owners have taken to running a cord from the detector around the front of the windsheild, down and around to the glove box outlet. You'll need a longer cord, however.

Don't know if this has been covered but here goes...

Things I don't like about my SWP BRZ Limited:

1. The Nav/head unit just outright sucks ass. It's like a mentally challenged kid is behind the CPU in it.
2. The left knee area where y our leg rest in the drivers' side. There needs to be a soft pad there. My knee rubs on solid plastic and it's starting to bother me.
3. Why won't/can't the door unlock automatically when the engine is turned off???
4. Arm rest. Where are you???
5. The LED DRL's should have an option to remain on even at night. (I know it's a personal thing...)

Mine would honestly have to be the stock audio system. I have had the exact same speaker (passenger door) blow out twice now. within 24 hours of being installed. the car goes back again tomorrow to check the head unit and Amp wiring.

We have cats as well and what I do before getting in my car is to run one of those sticky lint roller things over myself (that did not sound right) and I wipe my shoes with a towel near the car. So far very little cat hair in the car.

Why I have not thought of that before is beyond me...I do carry one of those sticky rollers in my car and use it on the seats. But being proactive about it might work better!

The power has to be one of the biggest things that keeps me from truly loving this car. The second thing I have to say is the lack of room for your right leg in the drivers seat. It seems to feel really cramped and uncomfortable at times. I also hate how they didn't add steering wheel volume controls and a 'miles to go' indicator on the display. One last thing would have to be the oversized looking mirrors that I feel don't go very well with the sharp lines of this car.

...would rather have had storage compartments over the useless rear seats...cup holder isn't in a great spot...thinking I can fiberglass a sick center console armrest and fix my woes.

How sensitive the passenger detection system is. My iPad made the car think someone was there. Had to put it in the floor to stop the beeping.

And sorry to the international guys but no place to put my gun

It's strange. I put my work bag on my passenger seat every day and I never have any issues. I put my phone in the seat a few days ago and the car wouldn't stop beeping. I don't understand it at all haha.

1. Cup holder placement sucks
2. Could have had an inexpensive touch screen Nav combo (even nissan sentras have a Nissan brand Nav option)
3. The most recent scion TC yellow rs series got TRD push button start... Why couldn't they include push button start on the frs...
4. Bigger exhaust tips instead of the sickly thin looking ones that came standard on USA versions lol
