What I want to say is, Lexus is developing SC, so there is no need for more aggressive car. Or you mean ES with Camry chassis? |

I've said it before, but if its a Scion at least it'll have pure pricing so we don't have to deal with dealer markup...which on a hot car like this would be prevalent.
Honestly as long as the car delivers performance wise and they don't cheap on the interior I couldn't careless what badge it wears. At this point I'm just tired of waiting...it's been 3 or 4 years now and frankly I need a new car. I don't know how much longer I can hold out. |

Sure, I'm upset that Toyota has basically said F*** You to their United States enthusiasts. but if you think about, so has every car manufacture. We have always received "water downed" versions of vehicles. We never received the Nissan S15 Silvia, or any GTR like the R32, R33, R34. They stopped production of the RX-7 here in 1995 while in Japan it ran till 2002. It seems we get shafted no matter what. The reason why we always get the short end of the stick, im not sure. Maybe its the DOT or some other federal organization. It could also be that they know enthusiasts here like to convert to Japanese spec, so they make more money with part sales...
Its all good, because hopefully the Japanese version of the FR-S will have only minor tweaks. If they are you know people will be buying the Japanese parts to convert their Scion over to Japanese specs.

yes but its not a direct conversion what we have down here is a shit load more government taxes on cars that kack up the price CONSIDERABLY so you can never do a straight money conversion. go try it with the 370z i think base here is something like $72,000 dont know about over there but yea do it and you'll see how much more we get taxed
