I especially love how there's a little window to show off the beautiful artwork of the velocity stack.

I wonder where the filter is going to reside

Here are some MOAR pics.

The next 6 pics is showing the plexiglass top cover as well as the filter placement of the intake system (please keep in mind that it is not complete as of yet and we will have a heatshield to protect the filter from engine bay heat as well as direct fresh air from the factory air snorkel), enjoy:

Of couse a couple of the guys at the shop decided to put an LED light inside the box, I bitched a little, but I must say it did look pretty cool, perhaps for cars in car shows

Lol I'm REALLY digging this design now, LED light might seem ricer to some, but I think that's freaking sick! If the Audi R8 can have LEDs in it's engine bay, I want an LED in my intake! hehe

Interesting, I like the idea. Are you going to do some kind of thermal barrier coating on the aluminum or leave it as is? I was hoping the intake/filter section would be more like the stock design though, with maybe a bigger panel filter used...seems like this system will add quite a bit of weight compared to the stock one. Can't wait to see the test results though and how it performs though!

Additional props on thinking you know me.

Was making educated observations...not pissing in your wheaties. I like the way it looks.

Having scored 99.8th percentile for spatial reasoning doesn't make me an expert, but you better believe the education and training received over the years has.

That's great Bravo for you, I think someone needs Trader Joe's Highbrow Chocolate Chip Cookies for scoring 99.8% on spacial reasoning; I bet he is doing some serious spatial reasoning on the cookie to determine how good it will taste, with and without milk and he can successfully deduce the exact taste pretty accurately as his education and years of training gives him the experience to do so.
