I would love a pair of these or even the low cut versions.

So I went on the Japanese Asics site and looked for the shoes. Couldn't find them. However, I did discover that they make shoes for tug of war, snow ball fights, and jump rope. Crazy Japanese.

A lot of companies are using that type of resonator now, they don't usually have any electronics or valves. I know HKS has used them a while, I have it on my Z exhaust. They are called Helmholtz resonators. Helmholtz resonance is supposed to aide in exhaust gas scavenging for increased power.

So now it all became clear why I saw so many 86s on the road when I was in Gotenba that weekend.. Also saw several GTRs (R32-35) and a pair of LFAs during that leg of my trip to Japan. I'd say I'm sad about missing the event, but I was busy marrying my JDM lady on 8/6
