Just a little input for all the people nagging about pricing... think about the money you'll save not buying a header or intake (roughly $800-1k).

The kit doesn't include a turbo manifold.

Wait i've seen like 15 dang whp numbers now lol. The first page has a dyno pic showing the car making 213whp which is decent. And i've also seen people say stuff like 240, and now 280. What power do you get from this kit out the box or is it custom to the client?

The first page has not been updated... the 213 number is just 4psi of boost. Just this week, the boys at Accelerated did another tune at 8-10 psi and they are in the 280 neighborhood now.

I suppose the power level is up to what you would like. All you need is to select a boost level. We are currently around 10psi on my manual car which can net as much as 290whp on 93 octane. |

[QUOTE=justaquestion;371147]Am I the only one who thinks that power band looks weak? Maybe im not looking at the newest image? 280whp is nice, but when your hitting 280whp for .5 seconds..[/QUOT
Without running the turbo much much harder and allowing it to free spin in, I'm afraid theres no way to make the peak number longer. Not at this current time anyway. Don |

The rest of the powerband is much improved over stock as well, look at the area under of the curve instead of peak.

Im loving all the boost options being developed for this engine. I can imagine all the different set-ups and kits that will be avaliable 3-5 years down the line for the FA20.
This is only the beginning. |

Ummm guys... it's a stock engine boasting +120whp over stock on 10psi from a well matched turbo... to think that with a built bottom end, maybe some head/cam work and more boost that 600+whp is unheard of is quite antiquated. The engine likes to rev... Honda guys have ran BIG turbos for years and made BIG power up top. There will be some monsters produced with the FA20, just wait...
Don... you remind me of Steve Anderson... he was the guy to find the limits of the stock '03-05 SRT4 engine (which was about 500whp, on hyperectectic pistons, powder cast rods and a cast crank). I have no doubt that you will make more power than you are currently, on the stock "bottom end" (middle end? haha). My hats off to you, I know you're not trying to blow this car up, and you will not put out a product that will do harm to customer cars. Keep up the good work, and I bet the "MONSTER" BRZ/FRS (FA20 based) will come out of Toledo just like the first turbo kit did.

For driveability you want a flat torque curve, not a flat hp curve. A flat torque curve will result in a hp curve that increases at a steady rate, so peak hp will not last very long. I'm not sure I've ever seen a flat hp curve, or if it's even possible. If you want to tune to make peak hp the whole time for whatever reason, you're going to end up with a terrible torque curve and a car that drives like shit. Don's car has a really awesome looking torque curve, way better than any EJ I've ever seen.
