No chance. That car is at least three months away. Maybe longer. To be confirmed means it hasn't been submitted to Japan yet.

What do you mean it hasn't been submitted to japan?? if its been ordered and batch number giving?? who is holding the information?? dont they just have a list in japan that they work through? ie: once dealership allocates batch number from stock controller its then confirmed in the database to be built at some point?

I'm with you, i go back to around page 9 of this thread and read the flyer Toyota put out regarding delivery times - sure, the GTS is going to be 12-18 months or longer but if you ordered March i'm sure there are some here already getting them who ordered around the same time. I'm watching mine as that 'flyer' said 2/3 months for a GT which I ordered and my Dealer still sticks with the October build/November delivery. Supposedly, the tracking moves from 'on order' to 'production' around 5 weeks prior to the actual build starting - too many differing stories coming out now - I get mine when it arrives!!

Long story short, I managed to pick up an unallocated car that was already in production about 3-4 weeks ago.
I did order another one at the end of June, my tracking details for that car still work even though I cancelled that order and it is still not showing a production date etc.

thats bullshit...

Seems that March pre-orders should be delivered towards the end of August or end of September.

I missed out for end of August. Getting end of Sept.

Yeh.... Im just not sure how they are running this now. My car is still on order and just hoping that it goes to production in September.... You would have to hope that if has been sitting there on order for some time it should get priority.

I think what happen to mine was my dealer took the deposit and sat on it until the price came out. Then tried to order it and I had to get in line with the rest of Australia then hence my long wait time.

I am just hoping that I can still get a car at all. Lesson learned though South side toyota did the right thing buy their customers and it look like they are getting their cars thanks to good management. If I ever buy another toyota I will be going to a larger dealership straight up.

Yeah it's pretty fucked. A month extra wait for a few days.

I ordered on the 5th July, was told September delivery, still no planned production date on the tracking system... so November at the earliest?
Not happy, I just jsut wish there was something I could do other than whinge on the forums.
