Fantastic figures !

Tech question - does the wastegate stay closed all the time or it dumps to atmosphere?

can't get it from the pics provided

I recall WOT'ing on my Subaru with Tial 44 EWG dumped to the street ... OMG that was the evil sound...

Don is a very very capable tuner so if a good standalone comes along that works I dont see why Don wouldn't give it a shot.

That being said I focus most of my day to day work on Factory ECU Tuning.

At the rate EcuTek is developing for this ECU I really see no reason or advantage to make the switch.

John... super, super impressed with the work you're doing here. I first heard your name when you tuned my friend Dave Davera's GT-R. I know what you did with him and I was so glad to see you on board with this car.

Holy crap cakes! I leave for one day and this happens!?!?

I am having a really rough day at the office today guys, so if you could get a few street videos at 10psi ... that would just be so uplifting. I would be forever grateful!

We figured around 20%-24% The dyno for base was our highest @161. We had as low as 152hp.

I loosely calculated 340-350bhp

don, I love the kit. How much more power do you think you could pull by adding more free flowing headers? I imagine some of the extra backpressure caused by the cat is slowing down spool time, so it would also be more responsive.

Don,

I know your currently working on Philly's car but do you have any ideas or guesses if the automatic trans can handle the 280 WHP and doubled torque that your car is making? That would be my dream. haha.

I know he had to change a bit of piping and relocate the turbo in a different place for it to even fit.

The auto has the disadvantage of having a transmission cooler line and a couple of extra parts that take up more room than the manual.

But he obviously got it to fit And it brings joy to my eyes seeing the power this thing can handle.

Now we just got to wait and see if Philly's trans holds up to the abuse he is about to set forth on it. :happy0180:

So what's the estimate on investment in this kit at this point?

Don's kit is what $4999?
Tune is another $1k, or did that come with the kit (I forget)?
Map sensor extra
exhaust extra
Any other necessary supporting mods?

Are we looking at $7k to do this right? Just want to get a ballpark idea on this.
